How the Tones Work
Our music embedded tones are a powerful way to activate specific areas of the brain to increase frequency of firing of specific neurons. As the tones journey their way through the brain by way of the ear, excitation of descending motor pathways is created. The tones cause the vestibular cochlear nerve in the ear to transmit the frequencies to the cerebellar peduncles. From there, the tones travel to the mesencephalon, which then fires messages to the frontal lobe. These signals travel down to activate the cerebellum and specific motor pathways, thus increasing muscle performance. The use of tones can be compared to lifting weights for your muscles. Just as daily exercise is important for the increase of muscle mass in the body, listening to the tones daily increases neural connection in the brain.

The CAPS system uses four tests; the first two being eyes open and then closed before application, and the second two being eyes open and then closed after application of Tonally Balanced. The data in the chart below has been developed from actual testing over the last six months.
